As someone passionate about the Arts & Crafts movement as well as the wonderful diversity of East Bay culture, it is a great pleasure to represent this exceptional property. It was a pleasure to help my clients in their search for this home eight years ago, as well as to represent them in the purchase of their replacement home nearby. It is difficult for them to leave this lovely bungalow that they have customized so beautifully. Their two children were born while living here, and they are actively involved with this community-minded block. Fortunately for them, they are moving only a few blocks away!

A California native, I have spent all of my adult life in Berkeley, and I am very familiar with the East Bay! I entered the real estate profession after a career in non-profit management, financial management and career counseling. The skills developed in all of those fields have served me, and my clients, well in negotiating the best possible terms, whether for a buyer or a seller. During the past 14 years I have developed a reputation for being very candid and honest with my clients and with the public about my listings. I am extremely proud of my record:  I have never lost a listing, and all of my listings have received multiple offers, even in these difficult times! 

I am actively involved with the real estate community at all levels, including serving on committees of the California Association of REALTORS®.  I currently represent our region on the Committee for Land Use and the Environment. I am honored to have been chosen as one of only 12 REALTORS® within California to serve as a member of the Green Task Force, and I am exceptionally active in the Green movement at the State, National  and local levels. Last year I founded a Green Council within the Berkeley Association of REALTORS®. I had the pleasure to serve as the 2007 President of the Berkeley Association of REALTORS®, and to serve on BAR's Executive Committee. I am the founding Chair of the New Agent Welcome! program, the founding and current Chair of the Green Council, and am active on the MLS and Local Government Relations committees.  Currently I am President-Elect of the Women's Council of REALTORS®, East Bay.
